Look at all the space!
I love that I get a lot of natural light in this room. And I love that it's so large I can have an extra work station in the center of the room!
Computer Desk
That's my computer and digital painting desk in the far corner. The table next to it holds my printers. I've even got space in this room for a TV for those days that I want a little background noise.
Extra Computer Desk
I've got 3 computers that are all an integral part of my business flow. I love that this studio affords me the space to have them all set up at the same time. It makes a big difference in my efficiency. I used to have to store my other two laptops and pull them out to use them - then put them away. No longer!
Heat Press & Kiln
Have I already mention that my new studio has a lot of space? ;) I'm so grateful for it. Because of all the extra room I'll be able to stock more of my products to sell directly and I'll be able to add a few more products to my line-up. T-shirts & totebags will be made with "Dragon" - that's what we affectionately call our Heat Press. To the right of "Dragon" is my kiln. I use it for precious metal clay jewelry creations, and it hasn't been used in ages, because I just didn't have the space. Thankfully I do here and I hope it gets a lot of use!
Storage Wall
Lots of storage!
Painting Desk
This is the desk where I paint when using traditional mediums (rather then painting digitally). You see here my extensive collection of craft paints - useful for many applications. Above those are Golden fluid acrylics which I use for some paintings (I prefer to use acrylics in thin watery layers, and Golden Fluid acrylics are just perfect). My preferred medium, oil paints are not seen in this picture as I am paranoid about keeping them, and store them in a drawer to the right of the desk. The decorative teacups are British Collectibles passed on to me from my Grandmother. Don't worry I don't use them for dirty paint water. Rather I use them to hold the "Active" brushes I'm using when painting.
Shipping Center
That's an old shoe organizer given new life as a shipping center.
